The UCCC hosted the first stop in the BC Co-op Association’s travelling Youth Co-op Stories Artshow, at the Craft Connection Co-operative on Baker Street in Nelson, from October 18-12. The opening saw youth and adults alike streaming into the gallery to view the 20 artworks created by youth from across the province, celebrating co-ops and credit unions in their communities, in celebration of 2012- The Interrnational Year of Co-operatives. The show travels on to Vancouver and Nanaimo later this fall.
