Having worked closely with our volunteer board and members to establish and grow the Council over the last 15 years, Coordinator Zoë Creighton gets to hand over the torch to her successor, Karina Farr. We’ve also added Bee Schroeder to our team as our new Administrative Assistant.
While Zoë will stay on for a while as Executive Director, Karina’s position will benefit from increased hours and an expanded budget, thanks to funds secured from a recent investment in the sector by the provincial government. This pulse of funding will allow the Council to undertake some long-awaited projects, while also setting up systems and momentum to launch us into the next phase of our development.
