The Upper Columbia Co-op Council is excited to announce that we are hiring!
Our longstanding Executive Director, Zoë Creighton, will be moving into more of an advisory/support role, making room for a new part time Executive Director, who will be supported by our Administrative Assistant, Bee Schroeder.
The Executive Director position is almost entirely remote, with some expectation of travel within our service region. The position will require an 8-10 hour/week commitment on average, for a minimum of 40 weeks/year, and will work closely with and report to the Board of Directors. The role description will be customised in collaboration with the outgoing ED and the Board in the first few months of the ED’s contract, and will focus on the primary areas of: communications and member engagement; financial management and fund development; and supporting the board with governance and strategy.
The position will begin with limited hours in a training/mentorship phase the week of January 19, 2026, and will move to full hours by or before April 1, 2026. Training period fees will be billable at $45/hour, rising to $50/hour after April 1, 2026.
A preferred candidate has not been recognized for this position, and we welcome proposals that include collaborative leadership.
